STUDENT SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE – FACULTY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022 🔬

On June 19, 2022, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) successfully organized the university-wide Student Science and Technology Conference. A total of 107 student groups were distributed across 22 specialized councils.

Given that the country had just emerged from COVID-19 social distancing measures, the number of student research groups in the 2021–2022 academic year demonstrates the tremendous effort and enthusiasm of students university-wide, as well as the dedication of supervising lecturers and the entire university system.

📈 Quality over Quantity: For the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, although the number of participating teams saw a slight decrease to 05 groups, the quality of the projects increased significantly.

🛠️ Practical Application: All projects aimed to bridge the gap between theory and practice. Consequently, the research models were methodically invested in and fabricated by mentors and students—100% of the groups presented physical research models.

During the presentations, students demonstrated a solid grasp of their research topics. The atmosphere of the Conference was open and constructive. The Evaluation Council and research groups engaged in frank exchanges, thereby opening up further research directions and development opportunities for the projects the students are pursuing.

We hope that through such student scientific research projects, a passion for science will be ignited within the participating groups specifically, and from there, spread to the entire student body of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in general.
