On June 23, 2026, at VinFast Hai Phong, VinFast held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, opening up a comprehensive cooperation direction in training, scientific research, innovation, internships, and recruitment, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for Vietnam's automotive and electric vehicle industry.
At the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Bui Phu Doanh – Vice Rector of the university – emphasized that the strategic cooperation between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) and VinFast is not just a typical handshake between a university and a business, but a strategic step within the university's long-term development orientation. This is proof of HUCE's strong internal capacity in transforming itself and mastering the most modern technologies.

In addition, VinFast shared its significant need for high-quality technical personnel in research and development, quality control, production, and operations. Through the MOU, HUCE also demonstrates a strong commitment to applied high-tech research, in which HUCE will receive "assignments" from the field, directly undertaking projects and technical problems from VinFast to research, optimize, and provide solutions/products directly applicable to the development of VinFast electric vehicles; organize high-level scientific seminars to update technology trends in the Automotive Engineering industry for staff from both sides, along with technology innovation competitions to stimulate design and manufacturing thinking among students from their time in school.
One area of particular interest to both sides is expanding internship programs, business experiences, and student recruitment. VinFast will facilitate HUCE students' participation in real-world projects, access to cutting-edge technology, and the opportunity to become full-time employees after their internships.
