On September 17, 2026, Dr. Cao Thanh Dung, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), and Mr. Tran Van Duy, General Director of Bigcom Joint Stock Company, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a comprehensive partnership.
Bigcom Joint Stock Company specializes in the design and construction of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems for commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, and industrial facilities. The firm also develops smart home solutions and applies BIM/Revit 3D modeling across design and execution stages. Bigcom’s portfolio spans nationwide key projects, including the An Phat Plastic Factory, Leo Vietnam Factory, Gentherm Ha Nam Factory, and An Lao International General Hospital.
Under this agreement, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to create practical opportunities for students through field trips, internships, capstone project mentorship, and exposure to professional working environments. The partnership also emphasizes joint human resource development, scientific research, technology transfer, student scholarships, and recruitment pipelines.
A major focus of the collaboration will be knowledge exchange, professional sharing, and commercializing faculty research into real-world production, directly aligning academic training quality with evolving labor market demands.
