2. Overview of the specialization, training duration, and degree awarded

2.1. Specialization overview

The Mechanical Engineering program – Construction Machinery specialization provides training in design, manufacturing, and management of mechanical–electrical equipment systems used in construction and industrial production.

Graduates of the Construction Machinery specialization may work in positions such as: mechanical design engineers, industrial production managers, construction organizers/supervisors, inspectors for machinery and equipment, and business professionals or brokers in related technical sectors.

Along with overall development trends, more large-scale construction projects and industrial factories are being built nationwide. Therefore, mechanical engineers—especially those specialized in construction machinery—play an increasingly essential role in society. With a 60-year history of training and development, this specialization has grown alongside the process of industrialization, modernization, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) in Vietnam and worldwide.
