The Faculty maintains a Faculty-level Quality Assurance Team, established under Decision No. 496/QĐ-ĐHXD dated May 10, 2021, by the Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The Faculty’s entire quality assurance system is managed and guided by the Faculty Science and Training Council.
With the goal of enhancing training quality and developing high-quality human resources to meet labor market demands, the Faculty has diligently implemented activities to assure the quality of teaching and learning.
Since the first enrollment intake in 2019-2020, the Quality Assurance Team has recommended two major adjustments to the training programs
This included a shift from traditional GPA-based student evaluation to assessment based on Program Learning Outcomes (PLO), leading to a comprehensive revision of program objectives, curriculum framework, and detailed course syllabi.
Notably, the adjustments involved increasing the credit load for practical/laboratory courses and adding essential courses aligned with contemporary trends, such as specialized professional topics and AI applications.
In line with the University's plan, the Faculty is currently undertaking AUN-QA accreditation for one of its Mechanical Engineering training programs (CTĐT ME). Furthermore, the Faculty annually collects feedback from stakeholders regarding the programs under its responsibility, teaching and learning activities, infrastructure (CSVC), etc., to continuously adjust and improve the quality of training and scientific research.
