ON-SITE FIELD TRIP TO NGAI CAU INVESTMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND TRADING JOINT STOCK COMPANY
On November 29, K69 students majoring in Electrical Engineering and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering had a highly beneficial and enjoyable field trip to Ngai Cau Investment, Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company.
Ngai Cau – A leading company in green mechanical engineering: Founded in 2001, Ngai Cau is one of Vietnam’s leading enterprises in mechanical fabrication and hot-dip galvanizing, with more than 21 years of experience providing high-quality products for the power sector such as steel poles, anchor bolts, equipment supports, transformer substations, and more.
The “GREEN” philosophy
Green thinking for the environment
Green action for the environment
A green lifestyle
With its green philosophy, Ngai Cau strongly inspired students in terms of career orientation and working approaches, helping them better understand their responsibilities in learning and professional development.
At the company’s factory, students were able to:
Observe firsthand the production process of electrical and mechanical equipment, supported by advanced machinery applied by the company.
Learn about technical standards and the strict quality inspection process applied from material selection, machining, welding, and hot-dip galvanizing to final products.
Exchange ideas and gain inspiration through interactions with the Deputy General Director in charge of business and the Head of Human Resources, including:
Having questions answered regarding engineering, production processes, and industry-related topics;
Obtaining information about job positions, recruitment requirements, and career development opportunities at the company;
Receiving career consultation and guidance.
This practical field trip brought many tangible benefits to students: expanding real-world knowledge and developing soft skills—strengthening observation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
The trip was not only an opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience, but also a major source of inspiration—nurturing students’ dreams and career aspirations. Hopefully, after this visit, the students will feel confident moving forward on the path to becoming dedicated engineers who love their profession, value their workplace, and contribute in the future.
The Youth Union of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering would like to express sincere thanks to the leadership and all staff of Ngai Cau Investment, Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, as well as the university leadership, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and the supervising lecturers for creating very favorable conditions for the students on this trip.
